Great Swims and Lots of Info!!

Posted by Arapahoe High School Swim and Dive on Apr 08 2018 at 07:36AM PDT in 2018 Boys

Great swims & Dives this past week at Creek Meet and AHS Invite! Be sure to check out the website (ahsswimdive.com) for individual and team results. Thank you to those that came to support our team at CHick-Fil-A Fundraiser!

Note from Coach Richmond:
Spring break was once again an issue – many swimmers did not send a note of excuse – explanation of spring break trip plans. Parents of Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, please keep swim season in mind when/if planning Spring Break. Athletes lose momentum and fitness when taking off 10 days mid season.

From here on out. Practice is the priority. Our priority list has always been shared as 1. Family 2. School 3. Swimming /diving 4. Social. We expect the student-athletes will be at practice. Notes are simply information – We do not automatically accept notes. Whether it is an excused note or unexcused…it’s is still an excuse. This has been communicated to the boys.
Kids will be sittng out of meets following missed practices.
27 days to B League
35 days to A League
42 days to State

LOOKING AHEAD >>>
WED: Reminder that we have our 1st Parent Social this Wednesday, April 11th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Casa Caliente (8800 S. Any questions please email Kim >> Kimsoliva@gmail.com.

THUR: Home meet vs Mullen @ 4:30 (Note the early start time) There are still lots of spots available for timing – sign up to get the best seat in the house!! http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090c44adad2d6-ahsboys

Volunteers please remember if a concessions SLOT IS EMPTY and you plan to bring something last minute, please fill out the sign up. Concessions ended up with 10 boxes of chips and almost as many extra boxes of granola bars last time because nobody signed up for it those items. Since the slots weren’t filled on the sign-up, numerous other people brought the same thing and concessions had an over abundance. We do appreciate your generosity!!

Pennant Cutting Party is NEXT MONDAY, April 16th at 6:30 at the Southglenn Library. Bring sharp scissors to help cut felt and carry on this tradition.

Pictures from Team Events (Feeds, Chick-Fil-A, Spring Break) and Meets are getting added to the website. Thanks to Tina Brewer for taking thousands of action shots and documenting this great season!!
