Warrior Aquatics Water Polo and Swimming
Dear Warrior Swimmers and Parents,
I hope everybody had a great summer. I am eager to share some good news with you. Starting in September, we will be launching Warrior Aquatics at Arapahoe High School—an Arapahoe-centered and community based combined swimming and water polo club. Warrior Aquatics will be a year-round club and the only one of its kind being offered in Colorado.
Warrior Aquatics will include 2 components:
Warrior Swim and Water Polo Club (high school only)
Warrior Aquatics—(must be 8 years old by November 15)
Warrior Aquatics is designed to fill an important need in the Arapahoe community: an opportunity for those who would like to swim and/or play water polo, but who might not want to commit to a highly rigorous competitive swim team. By combining swimming and water polo, we are offering swimmers one of the very best ways to prepare and improve summer league swimming and/or prepare for a swimming program that may be more intensive.
We are having an informational meeting next Tuesday, August 27 from 3:50-4:30 pm in the Forum. Coaches Kevin, Taylor, and Randy will be leading the meeting. We would like all students to attend if they are interested.
The High School Swim and Water Polo Club is aiming to start on Tuesday, September 3rd. The registration season will be from Sept 3rd until November 15 when girls high school swimming will begin. Practice will start at approximately 3:55 pm and finish at 5:20 pm Monday through Friday. This Club is open to swimmers and water polo players that do not attend AHS so please feel free to forward this email to anybody that may be interested. Please see the attached practice schedules for more information.
If your high school student wants to join the Warrior Water Polo team, we will be having weekend tournaments with a championship on Saturday November 2nd at VMAC. Currently, there are 7 high schools confirmed to play in the first-ever High School Water Polo League. If you are not interested in water polo, we will also have a swimming practice available at the same time.

We would appreciate any student interested in playing water polo to register as soon as possible as the organizers of the High School water polo league are already asking for rosters!
Warrior Aquatics is an age group program designed for swimmers from ages 8-14. By combining swimming and water polo, we are offering swimmers one of the very best ways to prepare and improve summer league swimming and/or prepare for a swimming program that may be more intensive. We plan on starting this program on September 16. If you would like more information regarding this program, please email me.
