Saturday February 15 was the deadline to register for the Booster membership….BUT there’s still time to join the team. If you missed the deadline, please contact Marc Roswech and he’ll get you squared away. Remember that Membership requires three registrations: Booster, AHS and CHSSAA—links to all three are at the bottom of this email.
SWIM CLINIC STARTS TUESDAY
Head Swimming Coach Mike Richmond will offer a one-week preseason swimming clinic to all new Arapahoe Boys (and Girls) swimmer beginning Tuesday (through Friday the 21st). The cost is $35 for four days at 1.5 hours per day (six total hours) from 3:45-5:15 pm. Contact Coach Richmond at for more information.
THURSDAY PARENT SOCIAL
It’s almost time for the season to start, which means it’s also time for our first Parent Social. Please join us this Thursday, February 20 at the Heritage Greens Clubhouse from 6-8 pm for food (provided by the team), drinks (provided by you), and a good time (provided everyone joins us)! 4814 E Links Circle, Centennial CO 80122 Please help us estimate our headcount by submitting your RSVP to this Evite: The Parent Social will be followed by an Open Booster Meeting from 8-9 pm. CONGRATS AHS GIRLS
The Arapahoe Girls Swim Dive Team sent 19 athletes to State and finished 5th Overall.
Junior Lyndsey Wehr placed third in the 50 Free with an All-American qualifying and new team record – :23.28. Lyndsey’s new 50 freestyle Arapahoe team record surpasses 2017 Arapahoe graduate and current Indiana University junior Laurel Eiber’s team record. In the 100 Freestyle, Lyndsey’s :51.04 placed her 5th and a second All-American qualifying time.
Junior Meg Bergstrom placed 2nd in the 500 free with a top-three all-time best Arapahoe performance and new personal best of 5:05.19.
Junior Miri Griffin was 6th in the 500 and a lifetime best of 5:08.11.
Freshman Lindsey Louder was 10th in the 100 backstroke and personal best :57.94
Senior Anna Wetzel placed 5th in the 100 Breaststroke at 1:04.21
The 200 Free Relay final time of 1:35.82 is All-American relay qualifying. The foursome of: junior Lyndsey Wehr, senior Anna Wetzel, freshman Ryan Johnston, junior Ashley Tellenger placed 5th.
In Diving, junior Kyndall Tatum moved up from 15th to 9th place overall!
Congrats to the girls for a great season…and with all the strong performances of the Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors—there’s a great future ahead.

Saturday May 2 – Sunday May 3—We are planning to host a booth at After Prom. This would be a great chance to pull an all-nighter and meet other swim parents. Details coming soon.
