Arapahoe Lady Water Warriors took 5th Place overall at the 2019 CHSAA State meet over the weekend.

Huge kudos go to our Dive Squad! Senior Captain Franny Cable took 1st place for the 2nd straight season setting the pool and team records. She was also named Diver of the year. 9news called her Queen of the Diving Board. Catch the news clip here. Teammate Senior Captain Kirry Belitz took 2nd in diving.

Our Varsity Swimmers had some record-breakers as well! Junior, Anna Wetzel achieved a a junior national time in the 100 breaststroke, broke the team record and placed 4th overall! The 200 free relay qualified for All American and broke the team record and took 2nd place. The 200 IM relay broke the team record and finished in 6th. Congratulations ladies!

Arapahoe holds 4 of the top 8 spots in Centennial League Finals. Franny Cable in 1st, Kirry Belitz in 2nd, Kyndall Tatum in 5th, and Morgan Hampton bringing up 7th places. Amazing showing in prelims girls! Way to go Warriors.

Ok, now that we know who has made finals, there are a few more volunteer spots to fill. Concessions, Timer lane 8, Photographer, Podium Coordinator and Tech Runner. Please sign up here.

Doors open for spectators at 1:15.

A League Finals Tomorrow. Doors will not open until 1:15 pm for spectators. Please do not plan on entering the pool until 1:15 unless you are a designated AHS volunteer.
